LV Sales Inc. is a wholesale distributor of locksmith supplies, locks & key blanks and other hardware. Located in the Hollywood / Silverlake area, just South of Glendale and North of Downtown LA, we have been in business as distributors since the 80s and the owner was a locksmith before that.

We're looking for a few hard workers who:

are good with people, have good phone skills, can work both alone and as a team (dynamic),

are self motivated, have a great work ethic, care about the customer and company,

realize that company growth means job security, and gives potential for raises and promotes happiness at work

people familiar with warehousing atmospheres, are down to Earth with a good sense of humor (our customers are mainly locksmiths and there are occassional blurts of the mouth), can handle time constraints and control stress,

are good with numbers, have organizational skills, can pay attention to safety,

Familiarity with computers, word processing, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express needed.

Prefer those who have experience in the hardware, locksmith supplies distribution, wholesale warehousing or locksmith companies however proven intermediate to expert experience with Prophet 21(formerly CommerceCenter) and UPS Worldship software packages is a major plus.

Prefer that you live within an hour's drive of our location (flexible for experienced persons in our trade)

No felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for theft of any sort due to sensitive tools and materials (an honest demeanor is required).

What we offer to full time salaried employees:

Shifts 7a-4p or 8a-5p (1 hour lunch)

Purchasing / Inventory Associate: Full Time Work Days. Duties entail insuring proper inventory levels are maintained, purchase orders are properly and timely completed and faxed / transmitted to manufacturers, coordinate with receiving associate regarding items not yet in stock and customer back order requirements, monitor purchase receipts and contact vendors / manufacturers to follow up on back ordered items, assist with sales phones and sales orders when sales counter staff is busy. Some heavy lifting may be required & good ladder climbing ability & balance required. Familiarization with Excel, Word, Internet Explorer and Outlook / Outlook Express required. Familiarization with Accware/Everest software a big plus. A high school diploma or GED is required. College coursework in accounting, marketing and/or purchasing a plus. Should type at least 30WPM. Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, Attention to Detail, Accuracy & a pleasant attitude required!

Sales Associate: Full Time Work Days. Experienced hardware or locksmith supplies distributor sales personnel needed to work sales counter, assist customers by pulling orders, answering phone inquiries and processing orders. Knowledge of locks & key blanks a plus. Must be pleasant and realize the customer is our bread and butter, a self motivator and able to accept direction and work well under pressure (i.e. can be fast paced environment). Some heavy lifting may be required & good ladder climbing ability & balance required. Familiarization with Excel, Word, Internet Explorer and Outlook / Outlook Express a plus. Familiarization with Accware/Everest software a big plus. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Outside sales: Independent contractor / commission only. We're looking for motivated, responsible, go getter personalities to promote new novelty items at prospective customer locations around the country. See www.klinkykeys.com for the line we're currently interested in promoting. Suggested locations might be Veterinarians, Pet Stores, Nail Salons, Hair Salons, Hardware Stores, Key Cutting Kiosks, Equestrian Centers, Animal Shelters, and the like. Get a first order from a new customer and get a commission for the first 6 months of repeat purchases. Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, Attention to Detail, Accuracy & a pleasant attitude required!
